Set among 100 acres. Two lodgings offering ponds, marshes, boardwalks and trails with many opportunities to escape and relax.
Each of our two self-catered, three bedroom guest houses are uniquely furnished embracing our rural setting. Thistlestone is for a mature guest seeking solitude and peace. Due to water hazards and electric fencing and being an active working farm with occasional equipment coming and going….this may not be recommended for children.
The two facilities rented together at the same time has allowed for couples, extended family or a small group to share their experience here together. The Farm House kitchen and dining area can accommodate a group up to 10 persons.
Guests can enjoy walks around the ponds experiencing the resident wildlife and flora.
In the summer there is a 3 km trail to explore around the ponds and through the cedar woodlots circling the whole property . In winter there is 3 km of ski/snowshoe marked trail around the property including hills and dales.
There is a firepit at waters edge for spring, summer and fall.
There is a flock of ewes with Guardian Llama “Lucy” to be observed on pasture.

Pets are not permitted here at Thistlestone Farm
Advance Deposit: 25% of booking. Balance due 14 days prior to check in.
Damage/Security fee of $250.00 (refunded within one week after departure.
Refund of 100% prior to 14 days of check in minus $100.00 plus HST administration service fee.
A cancellation of rental less than 14 days will result in the loss of all monies.
